In the beginning was the word. And the word became flesh. And body horror became of the flesh worded this way. It did not seem that suppressing the lead of the flesh would also void the lead of the word.

time arrows

A cosmos looping back on itself is still expected to be as random as it can be, but nothing in it could increase forever. The entropy of a system would increase if followed either forward or backward in time, and entropy minimums would be in our future as well as in our past. There couldn’t be steep and sustained entropy gradients.

mirror machines

In the beginning was a mirror. A mirror made of flesh. Nothing else. Nothing to be mirrored on it but itself. And virtual flesh became of the folded mirror.

the soul of a fairy

a. Dimensionality (Detection)

By definition, fairies have no mass, and therefore no volume. Because of the lack of the required properties fairy-density cannot be measured, only estimated.

With mass being indicative of inertia, for massless fairies the Resistance-To-Change value, RTC, must be extremely low, and very unsteady itself. For all practical purposes fRTC can then be estimated as zero, or non-significant.

The internal structure of volumeless fairies would not be constrained by local space, and should always be being rebuilt. The fairy-Plasticity-Index, fPI (inversely related to fRTC), is expected to be extremely high, and also fluctuating. With fairy shapes permanently shifting, and several quasi-arrangements of shapes sharing the same space at a given time, any detectable fairy-consistency would be only transiently apparent.

b. Ontology (Composition)

Fairies can never know for sure who they are. Their personal story, that internal narrative where they play the main role, where some particular events are highlighted as if being meaningful toward some outcome not yet completely manifested, that story that has to be constantly updated, where they want their sense of identity to be grounded on, is in fact a ‘made-to-order’ truth. Fairies are always half-lying to themselves about themselves without them knowing it.

c. Soulness (Properties)

Fairy-lightness is a redundant term, and any fairy-weightiness should be paradoxical.

consensual, or else

Any perceived (then reflected) reality, be it natural or artificial, external or internal, necessarily involves some grade of distortion. The trueness value of that mirrored reality is inherently limited. It can be constrained by the non-linearity of the perceptive system itself, by the probabilities of reaching a consensus between different perceivers (up to a certain point), and also, when seen it as an informational structure, by the grade of concurrence that could be reached between the information contents of the reality being experienced and those of the experience itself.
